I can’t think of much else to do with hibiscus (although I’m sure others could come up with something elaborate like hibiscus-rubbed foie gras stuffed inside of a peanut shell with a monocle and top hat). And it seems like everyone is making hibiscus beverages with their CSA shares this week (see: here and here). So I was a sheep and steeped the hibiscus with ginger (not in the CSA box) and lemongrass (from the CSA). Everyone else did that as well, but here’s the kicker. I made ice cubes out of the hibiscusade. I repeat, I made ice cubes out of the damn thing. Please congratulate me in the comments section below. Thank you.
