♦ Apparently there is a movement afoot on South Beach to put all restaurants in alphabetical order.  Eater Miami reports that chain restaurant Yard House is opening up on the same street as aspiring chain restaurant Yardbird, at 16th and Lenox.

♦ In this week’s addition of “wait, what?,” apparently Ferran Adria visited Miami and had dinner at Red The Steakhouse (not to be confused with Red The Musical).  Short Order had the scoop on Adria’s meal, which was apparently part of some corporate event for Pepsi.

♦ The seeds have been planted for an interesting new restaurant way down in Homestead.  Eater Miami reports that Three Sisters Farm & Restaurant has brought chef Steve Matkovich on board to open a short-distance farm-to-table restaurant.  Matkovich hails from Ubuntu and Bouchon in Napa and the restaurant will grow 98% of its ingredients, including flour, sugar, and honey.
