According to a Facebook post by managing partner Jonathan Lazar, one of our favorite spots, Sustain Restaurant + Bar in Midtown, is closed. The rare combination of top notch food and drink, Sustain had been named 2011 Restaurant of the Year by Eater Miami and their duck poutine was our honorable mention for 2011 Dish of the Year. Sad to see it go.

untimely demise? Hmmm.
We went because you keep putting them in the ranks. 2 tries, 2 bad, overpriced meals. Happened a few times with your suggestions.
I read the reviews and never went, probably not enough others went as well. Don’t know why Yakko-san is on the list either, just not that great.
Not surprised. Went there once and didn’t live to my expectations. The food was awful in my opinion compared to other Midtown restaurants and over priced.
