Love to Eat Out But Hate People? Problem Solved!

by Ryan @ MRPR on December 18, 2009

You are a savvy eater, you’ve already heard about the onslaught of food trucks and you are ready for the next big thing, right?  Miami is now home to two new “guerrilla restaurants” as Chef Alan Hughes has taken to calling it.  These are private dining rooms with a top notch chef preparing a unique, omakase-like experience for you and your closest friends.

Of course, some of you may scoff and say, “But wasn’t Jeffrey Brana doing this a couple of years ago with the Kiss My Pork Butt dinner series?”  Yes, you’d be right, show off.

First up is the aforementioned Chef Hughes, formerly of One Ninety fame.  Eater Miami reports that he is opening a one-table restaurant by appointment only.  Check out Chef Hughes’ website here for more information.

The second offering is Delishe, by Chef David Whyko.  (Hat tip: UrbanDaddy).  Apparently, Chef Whyko cooked for Lenny Kravitz and others.

If anyone has additional info about either, post it in the comments below.  And, as always, if you know what Chef Brana is up to these days, enlighten the rest of us.
