Mark your calendars with a couple of new and progressive food events this weekend. Here are a couple of things my stomach is hoping to have the great honor of digesting:
Saturday, March 13th: The debut of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink on wheels. The food cart rolls out on Saturday during Art Walk in the Design District. Eater Miami has a rundown on the menu. As for me, I’m looking forward to the Butter Popcorn Ice Cream. It had me at Butter. And at Popcorn. And then at Ice Cream.
Sunday, March 14th: The debut of Sakaya Kitchen’s Dim Ssam brunch. Short Order posts the anticipated menu and brunch goes from 11am – 3pm. Most intriguing dishes? I’m looking forward to the Scallion Waffle Topped w/ Korean Fried Chicken and the Korean dog w/ scallion kimchi, purple slaw, sesame mustard cream, along with everything else on the menu.
