April 13, 2010 Power Rankings

by Ryan @ MRPR on April 13, 2010

More stability in the rankings this week.  No deep thoughts either.  It was bound to happen eventually (I had my money on week two).

Instead, a couple of random thoughts:

♦ Between the new sandwich at KFC and the Krispy Kreme hamburger at the Youth Fair, I’m left wondering what exactly was so bad about two slices of bread.

♦ If you head to Whole Foods in South Miami (and elsewhere, I’m sure), you can pick up Gaby’s Farm ice creams and sorbets.  Trust me on this one: try the Creme de Canistel ice cream (canistel is also known as eggfruit).  It is up there alongside the butter popcorn ice cream (from Michael’s Genuine F&D) in the hall of fame.

♦ Red Light is still incredibly good, especially the fish, especially the golden tilefish, especially that specific golden tilefish I devoured the other day.  It did not die in vain.

♦ Follow GastroPod’s cross-country voyage to Coachella on Twitter.  Although he probably should’ve just jumped on the GastroPlane.  It’s quicker.
