A List of Food Trucks That Don’t Exist (Yet)

by Ryan @ MRPR on August 31, 2010

Eater Miami is running a weekly series on the trials and tribulations of launching a food truck.  The series features Sakaya Kitchen’s “Dim Ssam A Go Go” truck, which I heard is also the name of the new Sakaya Kitchen strip club (best buffet in town, hands down).

In part two of the series, Sakaya’s chef/owner Richard Hales writes that “there are currently 30 plans in for review for mobile food trucks with the city.”  So in honor of the coming food truck traffic jam, here are a few ideas for new food trucks that hopefully we’ll see soon:

(1) Green Light (from Kris Wessel of Red Light);

(2) Pascal’s On Ponce (this also works with Ortanique On The Mile);

(3) Michael’s Genuine Drink & Drive;

(4) BMW Steak; and

(5) El Palacio De Los Yugos.
