♦ It’s the last week of December, which means the unveiling of “best of” lists all across the blogosphere. MRPR is contributing to Eater Miami’s year-in-review, which is being rolled out over the next several days. First up: best standbys and best newcomers. Food For Thought posted his Ten Best Bites of 2010. Short Order posted its five best chefs of 2010. MRPR will be posting its five best chefs to bite. Actually, we’ll be posting our 2010 Dish of the Year (+ runner-up + honorable mention) this week. And last but not least, friend-of-the-blog Sakaya Kitchen set his sights on the bloggers and posted his “Top Seven & 1/2 Food Writer/Blogger List Who Wrote About Sakaya Kitchen 2010.″

♦ Here’s hoping Miami is the 11th best food city in the United States. In other words, we didn’t make the top 10.

♦ The great thing about food trucks? They’re mobile. The bad thing about food trucks? They’re mobile.

♦ Last but not least, frequent visitors know that MRPR has a lot of love for NAOE (don’t worry, we’re not getting paid for it). It’s nice to know we’re not alone. Congrats Chef Cory and Wendy!
